The struggling store had been closed and the decrepit ill maintained building sat, rotting, for nearly a year when three friends (Adam Silver, Shiloh Powers and Ben Barrus) decided to purchase the sad old building and turn it into a shared cabin for retreats, group events, family reunions, and vacation rental.
